Divine Love, Mother-Father, God ~~
I place on the altar of Your All Encompassing Love, My relationship with my child. This is the beloved one that has been sent to me To help me remember the truth of humanity. May I be a beacon of light for this precious gift. May I be an instrument of Love as I hold in my life The journey of remembering for both of us. Please show me patience, humor, playfulness, And a most tender heart. I am willing that You guide my every moment So that I may reflect to this beloved one the truth of his perfection. Help me to demonstrate the Strength and Joy and Peace of Love. Help me to hold the truth of generosity, Compassion, lightheartedness, and devotion. I want to be the parent, the sacred guardian, That You would have me be. May he see the reflection of love in my eyes, In every intention, in my every action, in my every expression. I am the mirror, The reflection of the world for this beloved. Help me remember, moment-to-moment, this precious gift. Help me to guide this one I cherish so deeply Into a life of serenity and joy, devoted to You, Dear God, And living his life in devotion of Love Itself. Amen.
